This is the story of four friends living together in a beach house for three months. They grew up together, and went their separate ways for the past year. The ties were stretched, but never severed: this is the story of their reunion, as told by all four, meshed into one name: The Beat Boxer. A beat boxer is a musician of life--creative, innovative, original, and individual. They are living in a house named after the battered red crates purchased by families and left on the beaches to store the makings of the perfect summer: a Beach Box. These four girls are the Beat Boxers of the Beach Boxers.
One is a dancer and a business innovator with a heavy family backdrop that only makes her more determined to succeed. Another is a runner and a writer, lost in the world of techno and technology with a goal to read every Shakespeare play before September. The next is beautiful and kind with fire in her eyes, afraid of missing her family and friends but also of missing herself in the chaos of the house. The fourth is the newest member to the group, but in no way inferior: she has been underappreciated in the past, but is undeniably down to earth and fiercely loyal to her friends and her family, evidence being that she spent the last several months in a foreign country to support her sister.
Four friends. One house. One Summer.
You are invited to join. In person at the house, in spirit through the story. This is our story. No it's not The Real World.
It is the real world.
